Job Summary:
Responsible for defining, planning, tracking and managing
custom software development projects within the constraints
of scope, quality, time and cost to deliver specified
requirements and achieve customer satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Identifies scope of projects; with business development team creates
estimates and budgets
• Analyze risk, establish contingency plans, and monitor project for risk
events
• Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are properly documented
in statement of work, functional specifications (i.e., use cases, UML diagrams,
workflows, etc.), and QA test plans, as appropriate, and that documents are
updated as project progresses.
• Identify and help team and stakeholders make project tradeoffs to balance
scope, time, and budget
• Tracks and manages project schedules; analyzes actual performance against
plan
• Communicates between clients and team members to establish project goals,
manage expectations, and to ensure that projects progress smoothly.
• Coordinates with Directors of Development, Production, & Project
Management to ensure the successful completion of all projects.
• Manages proposed changes to project parameters
• Monitors quality of project deliverables and ensures project objectives
are met
• Manage release process and acceptance of deliverables by clients and
stakeholders
• Anticipates problems and resolves them by direct action or escalation
to appropriate level.
• Reports status and maintains project records of decisions, issues, action
items, and meetings
• Assists Director of Project Management with all Project Management activities
for the company.
• Works with Director of Project Management Team to establish the Project
Management Office goals.

Required:

Education & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3 to 5 years of software or web project management experience
• Strong technology skills, including proficient use of Microsoft Office
suite including MS Project and Visio
• Familiarity with industry standard software development methodologies
and software product life cycle
• CAPM, PMP or similar certification desirable
• Knowledge of Adobe Flash and LAMP technologies a plus

Job Summary:
The Sales Representative (SR) generates revenue growth
by utilizing a consultative selling approach in prospective
and current education publisher and education provider
prospects. The SR is responsible for managing the newly
established business relationships in order to achieve
budgeted sales goals by developing and implementing sound
retention strategies, utilizing strong negotiation efforts
to preserve business, and securing contract agreements.
Duties and responsibilities include:
• Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Communicate
to and work with the Project Managers to resolve unique customer issues.
• Meet and maintain relationships with the top 25 prospective contacts.
• Meet or exceed sales call activity goals for proactive account retention.
• Effectively manage prospects by developing sound marketing plans and
maintaining key information in the prospect database.
• Meet or exceed sales call activity goals for new sales.
• Match Xplana Learning’s solutions and services with prospect’s
needs by demonstrating knowledge of customers and their competitive environment.
• Effectively use Xplana Learning’s sales productivity software
tools.
• Acquire in depth industry and company knowledge in order to prepare
complex proposals and make recommendations on product optimization and licensing
options.
• Attend trade shows.
• Other duties as assigned.
Required skills & abilities:
• Demonstrated ability to exceed all established
sales forecasts and goals.
• Solution and consultative sales training.
• Experience in the education industry important.
• Effective communicator, ensuring that all information conveyed is clear,
